For eight years the Global Social Business Summit has been the worldwide leading forum for social businesses.

The concept of social business has been created by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, with the intention to find solutions for society’s most pressing needs. To increase awareness for this topic, the Global Social Business Summit (GSBS) was established.

GSBS has been dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN), as the SDGs allow leading companies to demonstrate how their business helps advance sustainable development, both by minimizing negative impacts and maximizing positive impacts on people and the planet. The three commitments of GSBS are sustainalbility, inclusivness and impact.

GSBS 08th edition will take place in the City of Paris (France). It is hosted by Yunus Centre and the Grameen Creative Lab under the auspices of the City of Paris. The main event on November 6th and 7th will take place at Cite universitaire de Paris whereby the closing ceremony on November 7th and several side events are located at Paris City Hall.
